"It may appear that your twin flame is running away simply out of fear
or some of you may feel severely rejected as if you think your twin
doesn't consider you good enough or worthy of overcoming the obstacles
for. The fear may well be the only reason why many twin flames are
running, but it's not always the case. Maybe some aren't really running
at all...
Some are keeping their distance because they know that YOU need space to heal and grow too. They feel that it's not the right time for YOU to get close either and they recognize that there would be problems if they tried to force YOU to be ready before you are.
When this is the case, they don't want to get close too soon because they know it will cause you to repel each other and they don't want to risk an argument or deeply wounding each other through trying to force things before you are ready, so they hold back and give you the space to learn and grow on your own first. They are afraid that pushing too soon or allowing you to push too soon would cause your own destruction of your connection and blow any changes of any kind of physical reunion in the future.
They also recognize that in trying to force things, they are ignoring looking inwards at what needs healing within themselves. The more one concentrates on trying to make the outside (physical) work, the more they are being distracted from the need to make the inside work (self-love).
Some of these twin flames recognise that both of you need to work on healing yourselves. They want things to happen at the right time and feel repelled at the idea of trying to force things - it just does not feel right to them. They may be consciously or unconsciously aware of this.
The twins that are in this mindset are simply going with the natural flow or the connection rather than trying to go against that flow by forcing things before the time is right.
Many "stayer" twin flames don't understand this because they feel that it's only true love if they are giving 110% to the connection, which usually means over-giving and not accepting the natural flow of the connection. They think their twin flame is rejecting them because they aren't over-giving too, when really, in some cases, they are just going with what feels right at the time, to learn and grow on their own for a while which is actually the more loving thing to do.
Many don't want to "burden" their twin flame with their problems and some feel that they don't want their chaser twin flame to constantly give and give when the runner knows they aren't in a place to reciprocate the giving. They know it's imbalanced and not fair, so they are being cruel to be kind.
But some runner twin flames are simply afraid that in getting close you will see their "weaknesses" and you will lose attraction for them because of it. For many male runners, this is especially a concern. Society teaches them that they must be strong and in control at all times, and this connection often makes them feel the opposite. In running away and dictating the terms of the relationship, that is their way of taking back control, to feel strong.
There needs to be an acceptance that there may never be a physical relationship. Some stayer twins take it as a rejection if their twin flame can accept that there may never be a physical relationship. The stayer thinks the connection is less important to the supposed "runner" because they mistakenly think that if they (the runner) loved them to the same degree then they too couldn't accept the idea of not being together in the physical. Not true!
Just because one of them accepts they may not be with this person in a physical relationship and have stopped trying to force it, it does not mean they love the one who cannot accept it any less. When one releases the "need" in this connection, then it makes way for the love to come through, because need is not love and gets in the way of love. Loving without conditions is the true test.
